Entry #1: Thoughts??

 Heyy! So blogs are used by many people. I see it as a good way for people to express themselves, and let the world know what they're up to. It could also be used to help people teach others, such as a new recipe that is high in protein. 

A blog that I looked at is SportsNews. This blog isn't personally my favorite. I personally don't like sports, but my family does, especially football. The website is very convenient that I can easily find and updates on games and scores for any past games, which is some I like about this blog. The way that the blog is organized is that it has all the sports at top, where one can choose to go to that sports official page. And right under that. it has the dates and time for upcoming games of the sport. For example, the NFL page had all the upcoming football games, and the AZ Cardinals are going to play Sunday, September 17, at 1pm and you know my family is going to watch. As you continue to scroll down a bit,, there are news articles about that sport. It could range from updates on players, to talking about a past game. I believe that authors purpose for this blog is to be an informative resource for other sports lovers. It uses bot a formal an informal diction as well as uses both videos and pictures. 

Another blog that I looked is Billboard. Since I love to listen to music, I personally really like this blog because it has Billboard: Music. But it doesn't only talk about music, it also talks about politics,, business, etc. There really isn't anything that I don't like about this blog, so I often come here to just get an update in the music industry sometimes. The way that this blog is organized is that it had the major topics at top, like politics, music, etc. Then when one clicks on one of the topics, it takes you to another page where it has more sub-categories. This makes it easy to find any articles about any topic you want. Based on the format, the blog is generally to keep readers informed, and the author uses both formal and informal diction. They also often include a lot of pictures, videos, quotes, etc. 

The last blog that I looked at was Tmz. To be honest, I have mixed feelings about this blog. You have to be careful when looking at this blog for information, because a lot of it is just gossip. I won't lie, but I sometimes read this blog to just be kept up on the gossip going around any artist I like. But they make rumor VERY exaggerated, which is something I don' t necessarily love. But the way that they're organized is that they have the major topics at the top, and when one clicks on a topic,, they display any new articles about that topic or its sub-categories. With the format of tis blog, it's main purpose is to entertain rather than inform, since a lot of the information displayed are rumors. 

Everyone has their own right to right their blog however they would like, it just depends on the reader and what they're looking for. Until next time!
