Entry #9: Topics in food Quest

Hey everyone! I hope you all are having great week. Today's blog will be about analyzing a cartoon that criticizes the food industry. 

The overall critic of the cartoon is how all 'fresh' food isn't necessarily fresh. Store many times mislead one to think that the meat or vegetables that they're buying is the most organic there is, but in reality that isn't the case. In today's food industry, almost every food that is sold in stores have been processed in some kind of way. The cartoon buts a big enphasis on how misleading stores can be with the sign that says 'Farm To Market' and 'Sun Ripened', but behind the signs is a big machine with chicken coming out of it.

This cartoon grabbed my attention because it brings to light how stores can be misleading, and how unhealthy processed food can be. When a food is processed, they add something to the product to make it last long and not go bad. The substance can be very unhealthy for a person. and this is shown with the machinery behind the market.
