 Hello, I am Samantha, and I am currently a junior at Metro Tech High School. A hobby of mine is cross country, and I'm part of the team at my school this year, which is the first time doing this sport. I wanted to do a sport but wasn't sure what, so I decided to go with a friend to practice and like it. Two of my goals are to graduate from a university with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and to travel the world, especially to Switzerland and Korea.

Some of my many interest are true crime, nature, music, and reading. Both reading and listening to music are some of my hobbies as well. I listen to any and all types of music. My choice of music depends on what I'm doing and/or how I'm feeling at the moment (This is my favorite song at the moment). I like to read because I use it as a way to relax. The genres I mostly read and romance and thriller books.

 I also love to go camping and off-roading with my family. During the summer, we often go camping for a couple of days multiple time. We mostly go up north to camp, but we've also been to Utah and California. Some things that make me unique are that I used to do martial arts, I know how to play the violin, and I know a bit of American Sign Language. I did a martial art called Taekwondo for a couple of years up until the the pandemic, which I then stopped going. I also played the violin for 5 years, from fourth to eighth grade. I'm not playing at the moment, but I do wish to pick it back up in the future. I also know ASL. I'm taking it as a language at my school, and this year is my second year of ASL. Although I'm not the best at ASL, I can keep a conversation and understand when others are signing to me, but I still need practice.
